Paul Stokle

Full-time painter since 1987.

1987-95 painter of traditional marine and landscape subjects in oils and watercolours.

From 1995, I also wanted to free-up my painting procedures and to be more impulsive. So, I started to experiment in Abstract Expressions as well.

I concentrate on the moods and atmosphere of light on the Welsh Coastal Regions, creating unusual glowing, vibrant work. 

Part-time art teacher and workshops from 1996.

One of the co-founders of the King Street Gallery, co-operative in 2004.
