Vivienne Albiston

Vivienne Albiston.

Always fascinated with groups and collections I regularly use this platform to develop my thrown and hand-built ceramics. Working with multiples has that lovely ability of allowing my vessels to form their own visual ceramic narrative. The simplicity of their shape, which is deliberate, serves to highlight the small differences which exist between the groups.

Raku and smoke firing are the techniques I employ within my ceramic practise.

Wedi fy hudo bob amser gan grwpiau a chasgliadau, rwy’n defnyddio’r llwyfan hwn yn rheolaidd i ddatblygu fy ceramig dafledig ac adeiledig â llaw.  Braf yw gweithio gyda lluosolion,a’u gallu gadael i lestri ffurfio eu naratif gweledol ceramig eu hunain.  Mae symlrwydd eu siâp, sydd yn fwriadol, yn amlygu’r gwahaniaethau bach sy’n bodoli rhwng y grwpiau.  Raku a thanio mwg yw’r technegau rwy’n eu defnyddio o fewn f’ymarfer ceramig.
