Whether you’re a budding amateur or a full-time artist looking for a space to exhibit, why not rent one of our rooms. All four rooms are available, ideal for a solo exhibition, or a shared exhibit.

Gallery3 measures 12’x12’ and includes an annexe, ideal for exhibiting paintings and three dimensional work. Gallery4 measures 12’x8’ and is ideal for photographs or installations.

Rental is on a monthly basis. To apply, email images and your details to Charlotte Leadbeater at mymail@charlotteleadbeater.com , or collect a form from the gallery.

This service was launched by the Arts Council of Wales in 1983 to aid individuals with the purchase of contemporary art and craft.

Who may use the service?
You must be a private individual over the age of 18 and resident in the UK, with a bank or building society account which can operate standing orders. You must be buying the work for yourself.

How much can be borrowed?
Credit from £50 to £2000 can be made available towards any one purchase or group of purchases and will be repayable in monthly instalments over a period not exceeding 15 months.
King Street Gallery requires a minimum initial deposit of 10%. You may buy one or more works at a time, (Minimum purchase £50) provided the total you owe to the Arts Council of Wales does not exceed £2000.

How long will the application take?
The Arts Council of Wales can usually approve the loan within 7 days, subject to status.

This is an opportunity to become involved in a supportive exhibiting environment with long term goals to promote your work , expand individual practices, promote high quality visual arts in the community and sell directly to the public.
There is a selection procedure so you would have to bring some examples of your work along to the next gallery meeting.
