King Street Gallery is a vibrant contemporary art gallery situated in the heart of the old quarter of the historical market town of Carmarthen. We are a successful artist- led gallery, showcasing fine and applied art, including painting, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, photography and jewellery. It has been at the forefront of the art scene in West Wales since it was set up in 2006.
The Main Gallery space showcases members’ work, with a changing programme of new work being displayed regularly throughout the year. With around 25 members’ work to view, you’re sure to find something that catches your eye!
The Chate Room is a lovely room with natural light within the gallery, where we host shows from visiting artists and groups. The Chate Room may also be hired for running workshops, talks and demonstrations. Click here for more information on hiring this space.
The Spotlight Room is an intimate space off the main gallery. Each month, one of our members curates their own special show, showcasing a range of their work. Members have embraced this opportunity and it is always exciting to see how creative they can be.
